Load the dump bed more to the rear to help it lift. The geometry of the scissor determines the leverage it's cylinder can use to open the mechanism & dump.

I don't personally drive this truck, I just own it but when I just got in it and went to lower the box the control box where the level is I hear a small air leak/hissing and I'm guessing that's the actuator you're talking about ?

Excessive slack in the linkage could cause the valve to not fully move to the return position, which means it is only partially opening the return port inside that bypasses the pumping gears.

A slow raising bed is much safer to operate than a fast one. It kinda depends on operator preference but a heavy load with the possibility of becomming "off center" during the raise is dangerous at best.

But every time it goes up it is extremely slow. Even if I raise the RPMs to an ungodly amount, the bed still raises so slow.

If this is done, the main reservoir only needs to be large enough to contain the ammount of fluid the rod would displace on a fully closed cylinder (pretty small ammount).
